Superhero Series | Daily Picture

Below are some superhero names in Chinese.  They are from my Daily picture posts on Facebook.

The most recent pictures contain both Traditional and Simplified Chinese translations as well as any instances where they might go by a different name depending on where you live.  For instance, In Taiwan, Iron Man is 鋼鐵人 gāng tiě rén  whereas in China I believe he is known as 钢铁侠 gāng tiě xiá 。

The later pictures also contain famous quotes from the movies.

  1. Admiring the dedication you put into your blog and detailed
information you present. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed material.
Fantastic read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

  2. hi!,I really like your writing so a lot! proportion we keep in touch extra approximately your
article on AOL? I need an expert in this area to resolve my problem.
Maybe that is you! Having a look ahead to peer you.

Hi, I only want to say that Fiona is a supercute woman and I am “in love” with her.

Please, keep smiling in your videos as much as possible… you are really beautiful

  4. awesome I’m learning Mandarin and I love super heroes. I can’t believe you created a dedicated super hero section awesome. The next step would be to have the movies or cartoons in mandarin. I watch the disney channel programming sometimes, but they don’t have too much superhero shows

  5. Bilal says:

Heh Heh this was nice to see! Now I know how to say that I like Spiderman (I can’t believe he placed so low on the poll!!! he’s easily the best superhero!)

    • I’m from Taiwan, so when I started them, I did them only in Traditional characters because it looked too messy with both character sets on them. With the more recent pictures, I have included both translations (i.e Iron Man and Thor).

  6. Wayne says:

Hmm… What would Dr. Strange be called? Or my absolute favorite, Gambit! Keep this series going! Good to see useful (for me anyways) colloquial terms!
